Creativity Abounds Blog Hop

This month we are creating with the Christmas Bundles from the Jul-Dec Mini Catalogue. I chose to use the Great Tidings Bundle, which is on page 15 of the catty.

So let me introduce you to the Bundle

Everything you need to create some absolutely stunning seasonal projects, complete with the three wise men & some more unusual font for the mixture of sentiments.

The coordinating dies are gorgeous, with a cute village and the wonderful eastern style aperture die.

Simple Embossed Three Kings Christmas Card

I used a piece of the Simply Elegant DSP as the inspiration for this card. Who would have thought that Gold, Silver and Copper would look so good together and the middle eastern style pattern work perfectly with the large die

Because the papers were so busy I wanted to keep the rest of the card very simple. The background behind the aperture is just a piece of shimmery White card with an overlay of a gold foil hill, which has been embossed with the Painted texture 3D Embossing Folder.

Each Wise Man has been embossed in each of the three coordinating Metallic Embossing Folder.

Don’t forget to Decorate the inside using left over pieces of the DSP.
