How to Make fun Christmas season Cards – Tech 4 Stampers Blog Hop

Oct 12, 2021 | Blog Hop, Card Ideas, Christmas

Welcome to our Tech 4 Stampers blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from around the world who are part of a Tech Academy run by the amazing Louise Sims. Her Website School and Tech Academy helps Stampin Up Demonstrators navigate their way around the world of websites and social media. Now many of us have our websites up and running, a blog hop seemed the next logical step. This month the theme is Seasonal Fun. So it was a no-brainer to share the Cards I made on my Facebook Live recently. My fun Christmas season Cards. Get it?

Christmas Season

I do love a stamp set where you can build your own scene or set of images. They are just so versatile and the Christmas Season Bundle is no exception.

Beautiful seasonal foliage imagery, which are perfect for batch making Christmas cards.

Fancy ramping your cars up a little. No problem. The coordinating dies in the bundle will have those images cut out in a flash.

I also used the companion sentiments set Christmas to Remember, which work perfectly with the label dies in the set

A lovely mix of traditional and contemporary phrases with an on trend combination of fonts

fun Christmas season Cards

I made these cards on my recent Facebook live and they really are so easy to make. You check it out HERE

fun Christmas season Cards – Seasons Greetings

This card is so simple and could easily be set up on the Stamparatus for bulk Christmas card making.

How to make this Seasons Greetings card

  • Take the piece of Basic White card and add a mask across the middle. I used Post-it Labelling and cover up tape
  • Stamp the leaves multiple times in Pear Pizzazz ink using first and second generation stamping
  • Stamp the Fir branches in Shaded Spruce, again using first and second generation stamping
  • Add the berry stems in Pear Pizzazz and then add the berries with Real red ink
  • Fill in any gaps with the dotty stamp using Bumblebee ink
  • Splatter across the design with a Real Red Stampin Blend.
  • Remove the mask and add Layers 2 & 3 with glue.
  • Stamp the sentiment in Real red ink & attach to the layers with glue
  • Finish with some wonderful gems
  • Don’t forget to decorate the inside.

fun Christmas season Cards -Measurements

  • Base card: Real Red – measuring 29. 7 cm x 10.5 cm, scored at 14.9 cm
  • First Layer: Basic White – 14.3 cm x 10.0 cm
  • Second Layer: Real Red 14.3 cm by 3.0 cm
  • Third Layer: Gold and Rose Gold 6″ x 6″ Metallic Speciality Pape – 14.3 cm by 2.7 cm
  • Fourth Layer: Basic White – 14.3 cm by 2.4 cm

fun Christmas season Cards – Holly Jolly

The second card is stepped up from for the first one, with the addition of die cut labels and fir cones, but the principle is just the same

The trick to creating this card is to take the label die and lightly trace around the inside of the label with a pencil so you can see where to stamp.

Once the base was finished add a splatter effect with Real Red and Shaded spruce Stampin Blends & emboss using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder.

The pine cones have been stamped onto some scrap paper, die cut and with some Gold Holly leaves popped under the labels ,which have been raised with Dimensionals

Voila!

I so enjoyed making these cards and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
