Use your Scoreboard to make pretty backgrounds – Technique Tuesday

Sep 7, 2021 | Blog Hop, Thank you

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we are looking at different ways of scoring. There are quite a few different techniques which I am sure you will discover today. I chose to use the Scoreboard to make a pretty background.

Nature’s Harvest Bundle

The Nature’s Harvest bundle is amazing! When I first saw it in the new Mini catalogue, I knew it would be a great addition to my stash. I used it for a number of projects already one of which was yesterday.

Use your Scoreboard to make pretty backgrounds

Now I have to confess I rarely f ever use my Simply scored scoring Tool or trimmer for anything else but making scorelines for folds on cards and 3D projects

But, you can make those scorelines a real feature of a card or in this case a way to add some more texture to clean space of a white circle or a frame on a card layer.

The scoreboard makes adding a set of scored even lines a cinch and you can even create some fun borders on your card as well,

The image has been stamped in Garden Green ink and coloured with Stampin Blends to create a fresh clean look to go with the rest of the card.

Voila!

I so enjoyed making this card and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.

If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you

So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for using these wonderful patterned papers
