How to make a pretty Echinacea Card With Nature’s Harvest

Aug 9, 2021 | Blog Hop, Card Ideas, Colouring, Step by step, Thank you

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog today! I’m so happy to be sharing my card and to show you my pretty Echinacea thank you card using the Gorgeous Nature’s Harvest Bundle.

I’m participating in Kylie’s monthly International Blog Highlights contest and the top 10 vote winners get to participate in an International Blog Hop. I would be so grateful if you could consider taking a moment and voting for my card? I’d really appreciate it!

How Do I Vote?

Click on the button below you. Please look for my card (It’s number 35) and click on the little heart sign on the right-hand top side of my photo. Once you’ve touched the little clear heart it will turn to Red Color and will confirm that you voted. You can vote up to five times, but it’s not required, you can also just vote for one. Thanks so much, I truly appreciate your support!

Depending where you live in the world these flowers are known as Echinacea or coneflowers. Either way they are stunning and I see their bright colours in many English gardens right now including my own.

You won’t believe how simple this card was too make, because each flower is just made with a single die cut & then just coloured!

The card above was originally made for a sketch blog hop. I shared it in advance on my Facebook live and had so many requests to show how I made it. So I demonstrated the technique HERE and made the card below. As you can see you can make full use of our huge range of Stampin Blends to make any colour flower you wish.

The hardest part of making this card was deciding which colour Stampin Blends to use. In the end I couldn’t make up my mind on the Live so I chose three different colours. Well why not?

My top tip is to use your watercolour pencils to add more depth and details to the flowers to really make them pop. What do you think?

I just love your coloring. I could not pick which one would be my favorite. Love them all, and the card layout is great, too.
