As soon as I saw the sketch I knew it would make a pretty Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card
Sketch Challenge
So this month our theme is to create a project using this wonderful sketch layout.
Sweet as a Peach Stamp set
Once again I have used the Sweet As a Peach stamp set and matching dies, but this time grabbed the pretty coordinating DSP to bring the sketch together. Isn’t this such an adorable set, but even if you are not a peach fan you can use this set for so much more. You can see some other ideas here
Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card
This was originally designed as a birthday card, but depending on the message you added inside it could easily be adapted to be a good luck or an uplifting card as required.
The background has been made using the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder, but don’t forget to stamp your sentiment in Early Espresso Ink first!
I chose three patterns of DSP that coordinated with the colours chosen for the image.
To create that rosy hue on the peach, firstly stamp into Pale Papaya Ink and then use a sponge dauber to add a little Calypso Coral ink to one side before stamping onto a scrap of Basic White card.
Super simple, but very effective
Sweet as a Peach Birthday Card Measurements
- Base: Thick Basic White – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm (score and burnish at 14.9 cm)
- Layer 1; Basic White – 14.5 cm by 10.2 cm
- Squares: You’re a Peach DSP – CUT THREE 6cm by 6 cm
- Image: Basic White Scrap
