Creativity Abounds Blog Hop
This month our theme is to create some projects using the wonderful Hand Penned Suite.
Not a problem for me as this seems to be one of my most used stamp sets ever!! I just can’t seem to put it down!
So let me introduce you to the Stamp Set:
I just love the loose nature of the pen and ink style flowers and those infill stamps make colouring these pretty images an absolute doddle!
Hand Penned Suite
The best bit is the stamp set is part of a stunning suite comprising coordinating dies, Designer Series Paper (DSP) & some sparkly Genial Gems.
Purchase the Stamp set and Die set together as a value bundle and save 10% off the price ! Woo hoo
Hand-Penned Get well card
I used one of the pieces of amazing Designer Series paper as the inspiration for my card. The hardest decision was deciding which piece to use for my card!
The topper was designed to continue the feel of the papers so the imagery flows down the front of the card. Alternatively you could just leave it plain or use complementary colours. That is the beauty of this layout.
How to make your Hand-Penned Get well card
- Take your base card and stamp the spray style stamp down each side of the card in Versamark
- Add your DSP (Layer 3) to the Petal Pink (Layer 2) and then add the scalloped edged (Layer 1) to the edges and glue to the card base
- Stamp the multi-floral image onto the topper in Misty Moonlight and use the brilliant infill stamps to add the flower colours in Petal Pink, Misty Moonlight and Garden Green Inks
- Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and add a Genial Gem for a little sparkle
- Add to the card using Dimensionals
- Don’t forget to decorate the inside!
Hand-Penned Get well card
- Base: Garden Green – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm scored and burnished at 14.9 cm
- First layer: Basic White – 14.9 cm by 2.5cm, CUT TWO and use the scallop edge die on one side of each
- Second Layer: Petal Pink – 14.9 cm by 7.0 cm
- Third Layer: Hand Penned DSP – 14.9 cm by 6.7 cm
- Topper : Basic White – 9.0 cm by 6.0 cm – cut out with the medium sized Stitched so Sweetly Die
Bonus Idea – Hand Penned Treat gift
I used the left over DSP to make some of these lovely decorated chocolate bar – pillow gifts for our recent TNT Online Hand Penned Stamp retreat attendees. I love spoiling my European customers with little surprises in their Make It packs.
We had such fun with crafters from all around the world joining us for day of inspiration and crafting. Our next event will be in September/October so do let me know if you would like to know more.
