Polished Pink Little Card Big Thanks – 2021/22 Annual Catalog Blog Hop

May 7, 2021 | Birthdays, Colouring

Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Ice Cream Corner blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. Today we are showing projects using products from the NEW 2021-22 Annual Catalogue & I chose to use the pretty Flowers of Friendship for my Polished Pink Little Card Big Thanks card!

Flowers of Friendship

I just love the stamp set with its pretty, delicate flowers & fabulous on trend duel font sentiments. Even better the set is bundled with the coordinating Flowers & Leaves Punch. I love punches, they make my life so simple and when purchased together with the stamp set saves you 10% off. Versatility and great Value for money. A winning combination

Perfectly Polished Pink

Today I am sharing this wonderful new 2021-23 In-color Polished Pink. As with all of our colours, you are able to purchase matching Ink, Paper & Stampin Markers. We also have some wonderful coordinating NEW products – Gorgeous open weave ribbon & the prettiest Shimmer vellum you can imagine (check out Monday’s post).

This week I am really excited to be sharing a few projects using some of the products available to order from the NEW 2021-22 Annual Catalogue Catalogue, If you don’t currently have a demonstrator and would like me to send you a copy then please contact me and I will pop one in the post to you right away.

Polished Pink Little Card Big Thanks

These dainty flowers demanded a delicate card with lots of light layers and I used a layout that I cased from page 62 of the NEW Catalogue

how to make a Polished Pink Little Card Big Thanks

  • Create card base score & burnish at 14.9cm
  • Emboss the three elements of the first layer using the NEW Bark 3D Embossing Folder
  • Attach to the card base using a little Seal +in the middle of each piece
  • Heat emboss the large flower outline in White Embossing Powder around the edge of the vellum (Layer 2)
  • Colour the flowers on the back of the vellum lightly with a Polished Pink Stampin Blend
  • Attach to the card base using a little more Seal+ in the middle of the vellum.
  • Add a little Seal + to the middle of the front and add some pretty open Weave Ribbon.
  • Take the piece of Basic White card (Layer 3) Stamp the dainty flowers spray in Misty Moonlight and then stamp the sentiment repeatedly down the side in the same ink.
  • Colour the flowers with Polished Pink Ink and the Leaves with Misty Moonlight Ink using s Wink of Stella Pen.
  • Create a few splatters across the layer using the blend and the Wink of Stella
  • Attach to the base with Dimensionals
  • Finish with some Basic Rhinestone Jewels
