Welcome to the Crafty Collaborations blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month’s theme is EASTER and there are so many products from the NEW January to June Mini Catalogue that fit the theme it took me a while to decide. However in the end I chose a card I made in a recent Facebook Live using the stunning Springtime Joy Stamp Set for my Welcome Spring Bunny Cards.
Springtime Joy Stamp Set
I just adore this stamp set. I haven’t been able to put it down since I received it! In fact I used it earlier this week on my Facebook live.
It just shouts Spring and Easter, but could easily be used for new beginnings, be it baby, job or new home
I originally designed these cards around a sketch challenge, but time got away from my so I missed the deadline oops! But here goes anyway.
Soft Yellow Spring Bunny Cards
When I think of spring I am instantly drawn to soft pastel colours which remind me of the new flowers emerging We are so fortunate that the Stampin Up colour range has such an amazing choice of colours which meant I was spoilt for choice.
The card base is Sahara Sand and then a small layer of Soft Seam Foam card
Next die cut the heart frame from the second layer of Basic White using one of the Stitched Be Mine Framelit dies and then emboss the remaining piece with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder and adding some splatters of Light Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend before attaching to the card.
Before adding the heart back onto the card use the wonderful blending brushes to add a little Daffodil Delight Ink to the centre of the heart. I love these brudhes! As I have Arthritis I find these brushes a breeze to create stunning blended backgrounds. I have tried many brands and the NEW brushes from Stampin Up! really are the best, So smooth and no scratching.
Stamp the bunny in Memento Ink and colour with Stampin Blends. Add two pieces of the Fine Art Ribbon before adding another die cut Heart from the Stitched Be Mine Framelit dies
Heat emboss the sentiment in Gold Stampin Powder onto a scrap of Flirty Flamingo, then fussy cut and attach to the card before finishing off with a small butterfly and some Resin Hearts.
Soft Pink Spring Bunny Cards – Alternative No Die Cutting
I made another card off line to show that you can easily make a similar if not better card even if you don’t have a die cutting machine.
This time I used Basic White & Flirty Flamingo as my card base and first layer
Next take the piece of Sahara Sand card and add a little Flirty Flamingo ink using the Blending Brush and some splatters using a Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin Blend. Add a Square Vellum Doily & then two pieces of ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Combo Pack, which has been coloured with Flirty Flamingo Ink.
Add a Gold Hoop Embellishment using the glue.
The Bunny, Basket and butterfly were all stamped in Sahara Sand Ink and coloured in Stampin Blends and finished with some pretty Opal Rounds.
Voila!
I will be back tomorrow with some more cards using this wonderful Stamp Set.
I so enjoyed making these cards and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
