When I saw the Hearts & Kisses Set I just knew it had to be mine! Why? Because my wonderful community of happy stampers are collectively known as the Hugs & Kisses. We love nothing more than getting together to share our love of craft and have lots of fun and laughter. Want to find out more about or happy community then check it out here.

Well I digress… the stamp set is perfect for lots of positive and uplifting occasions and pairs so well with so many of our other stamp sets.

Even better there is a wonderful coordinating KISS punch, which if you buy in a bundle gives you an additional 10% off!!! So nice that they named a punch after little old me!!! LOL

This month I thought I would make a fun batch of cards to send with a little gift to my team and my recent customers.

Fun Hugs & Kisses Thank You Cards

The lips in this stamp set are just perfect to add a splash of colour and with so many colours in the Stampin Up! family that make perfect lipstick prints – Reds, pinks, oranges, browns and purples.

I thought it would be fun to make an ombre background using the lips.

Start with Terracotta Tile and then move onto Calypso Coral and finally Petal Pink. Stamp the first row in full colour and then stamp the next row without reinking (second generation)

Once complete assemble the layers as per the measurements below.

The letters are from the Playful Alphabet dies. Mount the scrap of Basic Black onto the foam adhesive sheets before die cutting out so you already have them all ready to mount. Yay I love easy!

TIP: when you go to add the letters lay a ruler across the card to keep everything lovely and straight.

Once you have added the letters add a few of the pretty sequins from the Artistry Blooms adhesive backed sequins.

Finally stamp another pair of lips in Calypso Coral, punch out using the Kiss punch and attach with a dimensional.

Measurements

• Card Base: Terracotta Tile – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm score at 14.9 cm
• First Layer: Terracotta Tile – 14.5 cm by 10.2 cm – Emboss with the Subtle
• Second Layer: Basic Black – 13.6 cm by 9.3 cm
• Third Layer: Basic White – 13.3 cm by 9.0 cm
• Sentiment: Basic Black & Basic White – scrap
