Welcome to the Stampin Dreams Blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month we have the Theme – Anything but a card! At the moment I have been making lots of Easter gifts and thought it would be fun to share the little baby bunny Easter baskets that I made for the little people in my life.
Baby Bunny Easter Baskets
Today I chose to use the amazing Stitched Nested Labels Dies to make my baskets. I have found so many options to make wonderful layers, apertures & 3D projects with these dies. These dies are a must have for your stash.
Baby Bunny Easter Baskets
A recent visit to a supermarket yielded these super cute chocolate gifts which were the starting point of my baskets. I literally designed them to fit, but that’s so easy when you have a perfect set of nesting dies!
The colour scheme was pretty much a given with this pretty Magenta foil covered chocolate bunny dictating the colour scheme.
You can make one of these baskets with just one sheet of A4 card. Die-cut two of the largest dies and then use a 8 cm strip to create the side of the basket.
Take a 29.7 cm by 2.0 cm strip and attach to the basket using glue. Cut two pretty decorative strips from the Many Medallion dies and attach to the strip using glue
Stick the label to the side of the basket to cover the handle and then pop the extra eggs on using Dimensionals
Stamp the sentiment onto the second largest Stitched label, which was cut in Basic White using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.
Next stamp the Easter Eggs from the Arrange a Wreath Stamp Set in Magenta Madness, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green & Daffodil Delight. Stamp a few extra onto a scrap of basic white and die cut using the coordinating dies from the Wreath Builder Dies.
Baby Bunny Easter Baskets – Alternates
The great thing about the nested dies is you can create as many sizes as there are dies, of which there are 8. Yay! I’m going to try and make a mini egg sized one tomorrow and will try and video the process
Voila!
I so enjoyed making these baskets and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you
So now it’s time to hop around the rest of the wonderful demonstrators blogs to see some more inspiration for your crafting
