Welcome to the Stampin Dreams Blog hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. We love showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This is our first Stampin Dreams Blog Hop so we are starting off with the Theme – What’s New?. I had to delve into my NEW January to June Mini Catalogue and chose the Snailed It Bundle for my projects.
Snail Mail Suite
Today I chose to use the super cute Snailed It Bundle for my Cards. These adorable snails with the fabulous accompanying dies were just so fun to work with. They are part of the amazing Snail Mail suite and are perfect for all sorts of occasions, pairing well with so many if the sentiments available across our catalogues
The suite is just jammed packed with bright and zingy colours and I have had such fun playing with them. You can see some more examples HERE.
The cards I am sharing today were made during one of my Connect – Craft – Chat Facebook Live sessions and as I wanted to make some really clean and simple cards I chose to use some much softer colours. A far cry from the colours in the suite and my normal bright and vibrant go to colours. But this colour palette really works.
Clean & Simple Snailed It Cards
The secret to clean and simple cards is to have plenty of white space or in my case Very Vanilla! I just love how these images work so well on their own without the need for lots of layers and embellishments.
Clean & Simple Snailed It You’ve Got Mail
This card is just so cute and is just so easy to make with my Blending Brushes and Blender pens
The base card is lightly inked with Crumb Cake Ink using the Blending Brushes. I then stamped the snail image straight onto the card using Early Espresso Ink.
Stamp the image again in Early Espresso Ink onto a piece of scrap Very Vanilla cardstock. Colour with Stampin Blends, then die cut and pop the image on top using Dimensionals
To finish the card I added some Elegant Faceted Gems and added some ground under the snail
Clean & Simple Snailed It Thanks
For my next card swap the blended ink on the base card for Blushing Bride and add some of the Snail Mail Twine around the card before adding the image
Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Succulents In Early Espresso Ink straight onto the card base
To finish add a couple of the butterfly gems.
Clean & Simple Snailed It Hello
For my final cards I wanted to use the pretty mushroom dies from the Snails Die Set.
Use a Blending Brush to add some Blushing Bride Ink to the base card. Stamp the mushrooms and the sentiment in the same ink and then pop the die cut mushrooms on the card using Dimensionals. To finish add a couple of Butterfly gems and a little bow of Snail Mail Twine
You can also do the same with Soft Sea Foam Ink and the clear Faceted Gens, The bow was using the white twine, coloured using Soft Sea Foam Stampin Blends. So as long as you have a blend that matches your project you can always have coordinating twine. Woohoo!
Voila!
I so enjoyed making these cards and I would love to know what you think? Please do leave me a comment.
If you would like to know more about any of my projects please do get in contact and I would be happy to help you
