Casually Crafting Design Team Blog Hop
Who are we? The Casually Crafting design team are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators, that just love to stamp when ever we can.
It’s no secret, that we particularly love the type of cars that are simple and easy to make with just a few products, so they are ideally suited to a beginner or casual crafter. Sometimes, we will add a wow project that is a little more stepped up.
We will be sharing our ideas on the 3rd Friday of each month and you can hop around the group and gather loads of inspiration. So grab yourself a cup of your favourite beverage, sit back & enjoy the hop!
So what is Sale-a-bration?
Plus how can I get this stamp set and papers for FREE?
Typically each year Stampin ‘Up holds a Sale-a-bration event each year starting in January. It’s the 5th January this year and usually coincides with the launch of our mini Catalogue. You get to Choose a FREE Sale-a-bration product with every £45 (€60) or £90 (€120) you spend before shipping and handling. Plus you can chose any items from any of our live catalogues to be included in the total to qualify. As always this years brochure is jammed packed full of ideas and inspiration and 7 £45 (level 1) & 2 £90 Level 2) products to chose from.
Heal your Heart with Flower and Field DSP
As many of you know I live in leafy Surrey in the UK. We have not long come out of a month long lockdown, which has not yet had the desired effect so we have rapidly moved to high tier of restrictions to held reduce this insidious disease. I wanted to crate some bright and uplifting cards to send to friends, family and customers to show them I was thinking of them.
Cue the wonderful Heal your Heart Stamp set. A Sentiment stamp set which perfectly portrays the sorts of messages you want to send right now. I paired it with another Sale-a-bration item Flower and Field Designer Series paper. You can see half of the scrummy floral designs in the photo above. Let’s be honest who doesn’t like to receive happy mail, especially when it looks like this?
All the cards have a base of Basic black, with a matt of Whisper White and then a piece of DSP. I used a mix of Just Jade Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo for a pop of extra colour and add the lovely sentiment “We’re in this together”. So true!
Measurements for Heal your Heart cards
- Base: Basic Black – 29.7 cm by 10.5 cm scored at 14.9 cm
- First Layer: Whisper White – 14.1 cm x 9.8 cm
