Welcome to the Crafty Bloggers hop. I am part of an amazing group of demonstrators from all around the world. Each month we will be showcasing some of the wonderful products which can found in our suite of catalogues. This month it’s another seasonal theme is Gilded Autumn. I adore this suite, especially the pretty Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set.
The Gilded Autumn suite is full of elegant nature inspired imagery, with beautiful autumnal colours and a touch of brushed metal
For my project I decided to use a more contemporary colour combination
Beautiful Autumn Card
So, for my card, I picked up some Thick Very Vanilla card stock for the card base and mat layer. I took a craft knife and cut a sweeping arc across the mat layer.
I then took one of the three coordinating punches from the suite that looks like and English Oak and partially punched out 4 different leaves.
Next I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso Ink. One of the advantages of the stamp set being Photo polymer is that it can be slightly manipulated when mounting. I curved the sentiment slightly, when I attached it to the block so it followed the edge of the curve I had created. Clever eh?
