Welcome to our Royal Stampers blog hop, where we will be showcasing some of the fabulous products available to purchase from the Catalogue starting in just two days. As you will see it seemed appropriate to use the new Many Mates bundle for my projects.
So who are we? We are a group of Stampin’ Up demonstrators who just love to stamp where ever and when ever we can. We are also part of a group known as the Royal Stampers who are mainly based around the South of England.
I am so excited to be sharing a few projects using some of the new bundles available to order from the 3rd June, If you don’t currently have a demonstrator and would like me to send you a copy then please contact me and I will pop one in the post to you right away.
Monochrome Many Mates Cards
As a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I have the opportunity to order a select number of the new products early, so I chose the new Many Mates Bundle of page 43 of the new catalogue for my projects today.
These sentiments are just so useful for lots of different occasions and well what can I say about the coordinating Many Medallions dies! I just adore them. Plus if you purchase them together as a bundle you can save 10% off the full price.
Not only that keep reading and I can show you how you could get this or any other bundle in the new 2020-21 Annual Catalogue absolutely FREE!
The dies remind me of the beautiful tiles you see in Mediterranean counties so I just had to use Terracotta Tile as my starting point for my colour palette.
Monochrome Many Mates – Life is better with you
For my first card I went very simple and cut the largest medallion die in the coordinating die in Terracotta Tile card stock. Cut into two pieces as shown and attached it to a simple base card of Thick Very Vanilla card stock.
The simple sentiment was added in Early Espresso ink. I love using this colour for my sentiments instead of black, which can sometimes seem a little harsh on the Vanilla card.
Monochrome Many Mates – Today is all about you
On my second project I stepped the card up a little……
I took another piece of Thick Very Vanilla card stock and using the Stamparatus stamped the Happy Birthday down the side of the card, in Terracotta Tile ink using the hinge technique. I then repeated the process with the Today is all about you! sentiment, this time using Early Espresso ink.
Using the Petal Pink Blends Combo, I then coloured the happy birthday and added some sparkle with a Wink of Stella.
This time I used a piece of Petal Pink card stock with the medallion and then using some Terracotta Tile Ink I added an Ombre effect with a sponge Brayer. Once dry I cut it down to fit the card and attached it using glue. To finish I used another of the dies with some gold foil for a touch of luxury.
Monochrome Many Mates – Let’s Celebrate you!
For my last card I really pulled out all the stops and added in some sneak peak elements from some of the other fabulous products available on the 3rd June.
This time I changed the base card to Terracotta Tile card and repeated the Ombre effect on another piece of die cut card. I then added a piece of ribbon from the new Ornate Garden ribbon combo and tied it in a big bow.The label is cut in a piece of petal pink card, from an amazing new set called Tasteful Labels and I have to say they really are!
I then added another piece of the die cut Gold foil across to add some interest. The flower is from the new Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set, and coordinating Sunflower dies. I stamped it in Early Espresso Ink and coloured it in coordinating blends. Who says sunflowers have to be yellow?
Adding a Wink of Stella to the flowers adds another layer of sparkle, but when you combine it with some Champagne Rhinestones then I really think you have a wow card.
To finish I stamped one of the sentiments from the Celebrate Sunflowers set in Early espresso Ink onto Very Vanilla Card and fussy cut around it. I love it when I can mix up my stamp sets and use elements to create different types of cards
Voila!
