A Good Man’s Card
Father’s Day is just round the corner. Its time to celebrate the important men in our lives.
So sitting in my lovely sunny craft room to create some fun and bright cards which could be used for both men and women in my life. The wonderful Piece of Cake and Daisy Punch came to the rescue. I am thrilled both of these are carrying over to the new catalogue as they are firm favourites and so quick.
I’ve always struggled to make masculine cards. I admit it. I have lots of flowery, cute or funny stamp sets for the many women in my life, but when it comes to the boys the cupboard is fairly empty.
But not any more! In the new Stampin’ Up! Catalogue there are a number of new stamp sets that embrace and rejoice our menfolk.
The one that immediately caught my eye was “A Good Man” which has some great relaxed images – no idea why the men in my family sprang immediately to mind!
To make the background a little more interesting I’ve used the subtle embossing folder. In this card I’ve only placed part of the background inside the folder so that it gives another area of interest. I think it looks a little like he’s dipping his toes in the sea at the beach.
Voila!!!
