Let’s go fly a kite!

Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Let’s go fly a kite!

I’m absolutely loving the new swirly bird stamp set from the new catalogue, launched yesterday. Tt’s got so many configurable different elements. The other day I had a little play in the crafty nook with the TV on in background. I wasn’t really watching it, but the programme I had switched on finished and the classic Disney film Mary Poppins followed on. It was pretty good background noise, and when the song ‘Let’s go fly a kite’ came on  I really got an a roll and these projects just flew together…… excuse the pun!

On the first card I stamped the sun and highlighted the swirls with a bit of gold Wink  of Stella. I then picked up a bit of ink on my clear Wink of Stella and lightly colour washed the clouds in silvery blue.

The next card utilises a sentiment and a banner of tiny dots from another of the new stamp sets from the 16-17 catalogue, Perfectly Wrapped. This stamp set is designed to partner with the stunning new Perfectly Wrapped Project Kit, which makes 8 bags and 8 boxes and would be great as a project on a crafter-noon party with friends. Let me know if you would like some help in organising one.

Finally in homage to the movie that had inspired me I put together a very simple, bright birthday card which would work for most people and to me is very Disney.

So what inspires you when you are creating? Leave a comment below and lets see if we can inspire each other.

Don’t forget to check back tomorrow, where I will be linking up with some fellow stampers in a blog hop to bring some amazing ideas from the new catalogue.

Finally if  you place an order with me during June 2016 then I will send you a catalogue FOC with a project sheet of 10 cards made with this stamp set. Don’t forget to tick the ‘contact me’ box, otherwise under the data protection rules I am not able to make direct contact with you.

How do you do that?

When you sign up for a Stampin’ Up! on-line account there are two tick boxes at the bottom, they ask if Stampin’ Up! might let you know about offers and specials, and if your demonstrator (aka; me!) could make contact you – You need to tick the YES boxes!

Stampin' Up! UK No Contact ordering

You can change these settings at any time by logging into your Stampin’ Up! on-line account, and selecting ‘My Account’ in the top right. Then select ‘My Demonstrator’ and change the options to ‘YES! allow my demonstrator to contact me!’

By selecting to allow me to contact you, not only will you receive a thank you card for each order, but you will also be signed up to my monthly newsletter. Alternatively you can subscribe to my emails above.

Sending you thanks for looking

Stampin hugs
