Stampin Up demonstrator – Crafty Little Minx – Back to the future Part 1

I’ve been missing in action for a good while. Miss me? I got married last year and with a very full on full time job, classes and planning a wedding something had to give…… I think we feel we have to try and  do it all, but for me it just wasn’t happening and it was affecting me so much that I just had to sit myself down have a good talk to myself and plan what I could and couldn’t do. So this blog post is a little catch up before the main event starts the launch of the new 2016-17 Stampin Up! catalogue. I bet you can’t wait, so check back over the next few days for some fabulous sneak peaks and a bit more on recent events.

So back in September I married my partner of 15 years and although we planned a simple event that basically meant that I ended up spending lots of time making it perfect instead of handing it over to a hotel to do it their way. Of course my crafty passion had to factor through the day so I made all the wedding stationery, signs, menus and little favours. We were blessed to have such amazing friends and family to share our perfect day with us and we even managed to fit in a game of cricket, another of our great passions.

The next week I had classes and then myself and a couple of other SU Demo’s had a stall with a make n take in our local village fete and the sun shone and we had great fun as you can see below when the lady mayor dropped by with a couple of friends

A month later we were off on our ‘mini’ moon, 10 days travelling by train around Austria, Switzerland with a final three days in the Italian lakes. The weather was amazing for the time of year and we loved spending time wandering round exploring some amazing places.

No sooner were we back then I was fully engrossed in classes and events for Xmas. I typically have 1-2 classes per month, but in the run up to Xmas it really ramps up and I was also booked up for a couple of Crafter-noon parties as well.  Phew busy busy!!!

November saw one of my team heading off the Brussels with me for the first ever Stampin Up! OnStage live event. 800+ demonstrators all in one place, catching up, ‘swapping’, crafting, learning about new products   and business training. I adore Brussels, but unfortunately our visit was marred by the atrocities in Paris.IMG_1596

Its times like these that you realise how much of a family we all are in Stampin Up!, as we all found a way to support our French demonstrators some of whom were in Paris that night,be if by messages, poems, cards or hugs for those with us at the event. On that note I will leave you with one last photo of Brussels showing its solidarity and support along with many cities around the world in condemning the events of that night.
