SAB Countdown – Mini Treat Bag – Supersized Notelets
Apologies, but this is quite a picture intense post due to the end of Sale-a-bration, but keep scrolling down as I have a weekend project for you.
Sale-a-bration will be ending in just two days on the 31st March. This is your last opportunity to earn a FREE product from the product list below each time you spend £45 until 11pm BST Tuesday 31st March or earlier if you would like me to place the order on your behalf. There have been amendments to list over the last few weeks so its worth just checking that there is nothing you would be missing out on. Because once that clock ticks a minute over the hour then those products not in our annual catalogue will be available again. Ever! Sob……….. As you can see from my posts over the last few weeks I have really loved these bright zingy spring colours.
Plus these fabulous items were added on the 1st of March
And finally these lovely products
So you are absolutely spoilt for choice. The clocks going forward has also stolen an hour of browsing so don’t delay and buy today! Click the BUY IT NOW! page at the top of my blog and enter directly onto my online shop or alternatively click on any of the images below to claim your bargains
Don’t forget, Stampin’ Up have confirmed that when it’s over, it’s over & the special stamp sets and papers will NEVER EVER be available again so don’t say I didn’t warn you!!
Anyway just to whet your appetite here is my weekend project using the lovely Mini Treat Bag die set. As you saw last week I managed to make a much longer bag to hold a HUGE bar of chocolate.
This time I used 4 pieces of the large part of the die to create a lovely box which I was inspired to make after a recent trip to the cinema. Don’t you think it looks like a mini popcorn box?
This box fits a dozen of the note cards and matching envelopes so I had a lovely afternoon watching a movie and creating a set of simple clean and simple cards. Well some a little more than others!
Here is a selection:
This first card actually literally took two minutes….Honestly! The second no more than 10 minutes and I turned the flowers into butterflies using a soft suede marker. Don’t they look cute!
These cards took marginally longer. This time I turned the lovely four petal stamp into a flutter of butterflies and double layered them to create fuller flowers.
Finally a simple piece of whisper white punched with the pretty Flower Medallion Punch (buy it as part of a bundle and get 15% 0ff) makes a simple, but effective card when you team it with some of the elegant designer series paper (Best year Ever)
You may have noticed that cute little bag at the front. This is made with two pieces cut from the smaller of the dies. You could slip a nice pen or nail file in for a gift or hostess present. Voila!
Phew that was quite a mammoth post so thanks for staying with me! I think the whole set would make a lovely project especially if you are new to stamping as it covers a number of basic techniques. Let me know if you have a go…….
